Indy Car Driving Experience:

Indycar Driving ExperienceIndycar racing is basically may look a little like the F1 racing but it is totally on another level of racing. The concept is still the same in both racing style, they both have open-wheel body. Indycar racing and F1 Racing, both have different hosts and if we talk about the Rule and regulation then it is clear that both styles have their own set of rules.

There are 4 types of Indy Cars leagues that you should know about.

Indycar Series:

This series made its debut in 1996 under the name Indy Racing League. In 2003 Indy Cars Series name was adopted. In 2014-2018 Verizon was sponsoring the race so the name became the Verizon Indycar Series.

Indy Light:

You can say that Indy Light is the development of Indycar Series. History of Indy Light lead you back to USAC mini Indy Series of 1970.

Indy Pro 2000:

It is also an open-wheel race car series that is developed in North America. The series originated in was initiated in the early 1990s using first-generation tube-frame cars.

US F2000:

It is another series the organization started sanctioning in 2010. Actually it started in 1996 but due to some reason, it was paused in 2006 then restarted in 2010.

Rally Driving Racing Car:

Rally Racing Car

A form of motorsports that usually takes place on public or private tracks. You can participate in this using a modified production or road-legal cars. In rally racing, the race takes place between 2 different points instead of circuit type track. A rally driving racing car is driven by the efforts of 2 people, one is driver another is a co-driver. Sole purpose of the co-driver during the race is to let the driver know the condition of the road, cars status, turns, obstacle or track, nature of track and many more facts so that the driver can set the speed and air time of the car according to the information in order to perform with full potential.

Rallies are usually won on pure speed or completing it before a set of times by running between several checkpoints. Rally driving racing If we jump into its history it will take us back to the time before World War 1. The first rally in the motorsports was conducted in 1911 in Monte Carlo. There are some old dates that give proofs of rally event that happened in 1894 called “Paris–Rouen Horseless Carriage Competition” (Concours des Voitures sans Chevaux) that was hosted by Paris Newspapers.

Karting Racing:

Karting Racing is a little safe and a controlled speed motorsport that is done with a small 4-wheel vehicle called Go-kart. 1956 was the year when the first Go kart USA was built in Los Angeles by Art Ingels. In 1957 at the famous Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California with some home-built Go Kart machines. There is an estimation that a total of 1.6 billion have raced in Go-karts once in their life. This machine races on a scaled downed circuit or sometimes it takes place on a full-sized track.

 

The chassis of a kart needs to be flexible because kart does not have any suspension units. The chassis is made up of chrome-moly tubing. Not just flexible it needs to be strong and stiff too so that It won’t break that easily. A chainsaw two-stroke engine can also be turned into a Go-kart engine with right engineering.
